Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between the RPM System and all other online fitness programs?
We wanted our system to provide a fitness program that would fit into your life and schedule without sacrificing efficiency. So in as few words as possible here is what we've done:
-
When you log in for the first time on our system you will be required to take a short fitness evaluation. This will provide us with the appropriate information about your strength and endurance so that your workouts will be challenging without being too easy or too difficult.
-
Once you have completed your fitness evaluation you will be given a Power Score. Your Power Score is an overall ranking based off of how each of your major muscle groups scored on the evaluation. We recommend that you retake this assessment every 6 weeks to improve your score and mark your progress.
-
Next you will move on into the nutrition section of your program in which you will answer a series of questions about your weekly dietary routine. From there we will pinpoint the areas of your dieting habit that need the most work and assign you 3 simple goals to reach on a daily or weekly basis.
-
You will immediately begin to receive 3 workouts every week using only a stability ball, a resistance band, and your own body weight. Each new workout will be different from the last so that you will be challenging your muscles in different ways. If you do not have this equipment you can order it off of our website.
-
If you ever have an issue understanding a specific exercise or are looking for an alternative exercise, then you can visit your exercise library. In the library will be every exercise used on our system with enlarged photos, detailed explanations. You will also have the ability to print off the information to take to your next workout.
-
When we designed the system we always had a bigger picture in mind. It's not all about dollars and cents but rather about helping as many people as possible. To accomplish this we set aside10% of all our profits to be donated to a national charity. We can't say thank you enough!
What is a Power Score?
Before you workout with a personal trainer you would first take a fitness evaluation or assessment. This would include pushups, situps, pullups, treadmill, or a variety of different options, all of which would be used to evaluate your current physical condition. We wanted to expand on this idea of a fitness evaluation and make it a little more dynamic. Instead of just giving you a score we used that information to directly design your workout. Not only will you be given a score but depending on how you do in each test will affect which exercises and program designs you get on your weekly workouts. Through all the research that we have done, we have yet to find an advanced training system like ours on the market today.
Get 3 personlized workouts to your profile, every week, that were built just for you, and never see the same strength program twice.
What kind of equipment do I need?
In order to take the initial assessment, both male and female clients will need a medium tension exercise band. Once you have finished your assessments and are ready to perform your strength programs you will need a properly sized stability ball, an aerobic step (Any sturdy raised surface can suffice), a door wedge (used to anchor the exercise band, not neccessary if you have a sturdy object to wrap the band around), and be ready to get more exercise bands of varying resistance once your strength and endurance increases. There is only so much you can do with a medium tension band so adding a heavy resistance or several bands used at the same time can offer much more resistance.
What if I cannot perform one of the prescribed exercises?
If for some reason you cannot perform one of the exercises on your strength program then we have provided a substitute for it in your exercise library. Simply look up the exercise in question and at the bottom of the description will be a replacement.
Many times the problem with an exercise is the form and not your inability to perform the movement. Be sure to read the detailed descriptions carefully and use the pace setter to ensure that you are performing the exercise at the appropriate speed.
I haven't worked out in years/ ever, can this program work for me?
The RPM System was designed to customize each program to meet your specific needs. whether your are a seasoned athlete or a sedentary office worker, this program can work for you. Be sure to perform your initial fitness assessment to your maximum ability in order to ensure that your strength programs will fit your needs.
If I am trying to lose weight, how much should I expect to lose each week?
Weight loss varies between individuals and can be anywhere from .5 lbs to 2 lbs. Depending on your current size and eating habits we suggest to shoot for losing 1-1.5 lbs per week. Do not be discouraged if you do not meet this goal as you will be putting on plenty of muscle density as well. As long as you can feel the fat loss in your pant size and mirror then your right on track.
If I am doing strength training at a gym is it ok to do RPM programs along with my normal routine?
The best answer for this is to listen to your body. Depending on what type of strength training you are doing at the gym will determine whether The RPM System may be too much for you body to handle. Our system uses total body programs several days a week. If you are sore one day then we suggest sitting a day out and letting your body recuporate. Otherwise, if you are specifically just doing cardiovascular training at the gym then RPM will be a great fit and help you reach your goals at a faster rate.
If I am trying to put on hypertrophy (Larger Muscles) will The RPM System work for me?
Absolutely!!! Despite many of the myths floating around, there is more than one way to build muscle. Instead of focusing on 1-3 muscle groups 1 time a week, the RPM System will focus on all muscle groups several times a week. As your Power Score gets bigger so will your muscles. Stick to the program and you could be showing off to your friends by performing single armed pushups in a sleeveless shirt in no time.
Is The RPM System a month-to-month fee or do I have to sign up for a membership?
The RPM System is setup so that you can cancel at anytime without worrying about a lenghty membership.
